For an assignment in LRNT 524 I looked at Problem Based Learning (PBL) and Transformative Learning (TL) and how each of these models hold social action differently.
Both models align with pragmatism philosophy and are branches of constructivism. Something I found through this assignment is that I myself am aligned with pragmatism. In earlier learning I recall being prompted to find out what my alignment was and researching for this paper helped me clarify this. The stages of PBL and TL are here for those of you who may read the essay and want to understand the practical application of the model more.
