Week 2 – Inspiration
This week you will seek inspiration for your entrepreneurial ideas.
In our class session we will engage in a design thinking process that will help you generate ideas for your business pursuits.
This week you will listen to podcasts related to entrepreneurship and recommend a podcast to your colleagues. Along with your recommendation you will explain the recommendation as it might relate to this community. This means you need to make some assumptions about this community. Who is here and what would be a story about entrepreneurship that would relate to them and can inspire action?
Using this link: you will post your podcast recommendation (with the link to the podcast please) and tell us what you think is interesting about the story to our community members. You want to post about a specific episode not a series recommendation please.
Additionally you can comment on certain minutes in the podcast that might be of note, a quote from the podcast that you found inspiring, a short summary of the story or a comment about why you think this podcast episode would be interesting and relatable to our community members. There are some podcast recommendations below but you can find your own. This list is meant to help but you don’t have to choose one of these podcasts for your work.
This week you will:
- Attend a class session (January 18 – link will be posted in bright space)
- Listen to podcasts about entrepreneurship.
- Activity 2 – Recommend a podcast episode Due January 24th-ish (link in brightspace)
- Activity 3 – Sign up for a peer review discussion which will take place Tuesday January 25th (link in brightspace)
