This week you will set up your website for your ongoing business plan project. We will be using wordpress sites to create our business plans. 

The steps you need to take to get yourself set up are found in this You need a website instruction document. 

Sign up for a website using opened.ca you must use your assigned college email for this to work. At registration you were given a coast mountain college email and this is what you need to use to sign up for your website.
If you are uncertain about how to access your college email check out the coast mountain college page about your webmail access. 

Once you have your site set up you want to create 9 pages as follows:

1. Business Canvas Model
2. Sales & Marketing Plan
3. Operating Plan
4. Human Resources Plan
5. Action Plan
6. Financial Plan Projections
7. Funding Plan
8. Presentation – The Pitch
9. Executive Summary

Once your site is set up you will post the link to your site in the assignment 2 drop box in brightspace.
Due January 31.

What you need to do this week:

  • Set up your website (instructions are in the links above)  and put the link to your site due in Assignment 2 drop box in Brightspace January 31.
  • Upload your coast mountain college email into the assignment drop box in brightspace so I can invite you the entrepreneurship working discussions group on Mattermost. 
  • Attend a peer review session Tuesday January 25th and be prepared to discuss your high level idea by considering the questions that are in activity 3. Find the link under activity 3 in Brightspace. 
  • Your next assignment is to build out a business canvas so if you are feeling like you are getting ahead this week I invite you to move forward to the next week and begin that work.
